Anonymous notes from cast dinner, decoded:
"Will you motion for delicious ribs?-Bangladesh"-Dylan. "SLUT"-Sam. "I so totally respect you, baby"-Sam. "badboyz"-Simone.
the rest, i could not decode.
I am quite sad that brick is over. vinyleater was the greatest play ever, and i am very honored to have been a part of it. I suppose that the saddest part is that the end of brick is usually synonymous with the beginning of the end of the year.
PS. Other assorted quotes from the life of Anna:
"if antibodies were people, i would come and give you some, but since they are not people, i can't"-Emma. "I've tried ethos pathos and logos, now, it's time for violence-os"-Zack.
oh! and i finally got an A- in IR! |

HUNS was the most fun ever. Allow me to outline it for you:
Wednesday: Arrived at the Hilton, went to the UN, sent a really clever text message with Steph in the GA hall. Steph, Drew and i had dinner at "the diner of depression", the food was good, the atmosphere was that of a retirement home. Went to committee. Then, Gloria and i went on a candy run.after i got back i wathced tv with Justine and Joanna. We invented ice water.
Thursday: did not have to go to country briefings, Justine and i got to sleep for the first time ever. I went to committee, angry pakistanis surrounded the compound of our military observers, we had to resolve the crisis. Went to Wendy's with Steph Justine and Gloria. Returned to committee, the crisis escalated and the troops were evacuated to India by helicopter. Went to Dylan Drew and Raffi's room, Ben had chips, I ate them. Monika had peaches, i ate those too. She also had crackers which i also ate. But really i love her because she had peaches just when i wanted peaches. Diana is cool too.
Friday: went to committee, a fire alarm went off so we had to leave, thus, Dylan and i ate this great brownie with marshmallows on top, i was so happy, it was so fluffy. Then we went back to committee, and then to delegate dinner. i was really angry about the actions of our committe so jason dubbed Gloria and i "the crosses arms table". Went back to the hotel with Steph Jason and Gloria. went to observe the delegate dance, was the lamest thing we had ever seen. left. Hannah Stef Rustam and Alex came, we went to rockefeller center. I danced with Hannah and Stef among the flagpoles. Sang many songs. ( i would later on come to regret these actions, because i had betrayed valued trust and wishes). Then we went back to the hotel, Joanna and i watched hilarious television like "plastic surgeons without borders" and "the butt".
Saturday: abandoned room keys, felt sad. Went to UN, went to last committee , spoke very badly acted irrationally, must learn to control temper, wrath is a deadly sin. Went home, was my grandpa's 80th birthday, happy birthday George Fitting!
I really miss living with friends and having committe sessions. i guess being back in humanity is alright though. |

Semi was so much fun. i have no pictures, but i will speak so descriptively that you will not need pictures.
We begin our journey at Simone's house; Gloria, Simone and I are preparing to change into dresses. Later on, Stephanie arrives and then Hannah and then Steffani, whose hair is in lovely curls. We apply our makeup and do our hair and then take some 'best friends' pictures. We leave Simone's house and arrive at the restuarant late, as expected. We sit down to discover that Dan has been selected as 'sketchiest' by his friends, based on his choice of clothing. I am very tired, and require coffee. Sam brought sunglasses, thankfully, he resists wearing them for most of the night, i am very grateful. Stephanie and i are isolated at the end of the table, and it's not even because we're yellows, i think that it's because we're short. We cease consumption and go off to Union Square Ballroom. Somwhere along the way, we lose Simone Drew Stephanie and Dan. Stephanie is short, i don't want to arrive with her anyway. Later on, we find out that they took a cab, but we still beat them. Good thing everything is a race. So then we enter, Mr Kagan is there, and that's how you can tell if it's a real party. Everyone looked so pretty! There were some really amazing transformations. So then we danced, and then the 80's music came on and we really danced! After semi, we pondered about what to do, but came up with no good ideas. So girls went back to Simone's in a cab to change and boys walked there but arrived very quickly. Then we sat around and wondered about what to do. Since i am reverse tired, and i am tired only when others are not, i was awake and ready to go out and have fun while everyone else was falling asleep on the couches. In our attempt to go out and have fun, we tried to find a 24 hour diner which turned out to not be 24 hours. So then we went to a pizza place. The people owner asked me where i lived, and i answered Bayside. He then proceeded to tell me that he too, lived in Bayside, near PC Richards and that he used to own the bar next to CVS. It was quite odd that he was able to sniff out a fellow Bayside resident like that. Stephanie was being foolish and Simone and i proceeded to join her in her foolish endeavors. Boys went to Dan's house and girls went to Simone's house, but first we bought fig newtons. Simone lent me some pajama pants but in my attempt to observe them, i destroyed them, by breaking the elastic. it was really funny, i wore them anyway but just tied a knot. I woke up whining about wanting to suffocate myself with a tissue and then we ate some fig newtons. We called Ben and Dylan to have breakfast with us. So then we went to have breakfast which included sweet potato fries, which rocked. They gave us cookies with green sprinkles for saint Patrick's day.Hannah and Dylan departed, the rest of us went back to Simone's house and called Mira. She arrived, we sat around wondering what to do and figured out nothing. We were so bored, so we walked around and around and everyone eventually departed.
I didn't speak that descriptively, but i think that i have conveyed the theme of 'best semi ever' to you? |

i wish that i could keep promises. i wish that i could say only what i mean. Unfortunately, i am consumed by pride. also, although i hate to admit it, i frequently make cowardly decisions (or no decisions) and that causes mixed messages all around. Dear Anna: think of retribution.
also i tried to make tofu and it burst into flames. |

A Documentation of Anna's Journey into The Bronx.
-Anna decides to take the 12:56 LIRR to Penn Station.
-Anna sees a shoe store and makes a pit stop, very good investment, many shoes will soon be bought.
-Anna has 22$, the LIRR ticket is 3$, therefore she must use the 20 and gets 17 Sacajaweas in return.
-Anna gets on the 1 train, the man next to her is holding a giant level and singing "i've got level, i've got a level".
-giant level man, and entire population of train exit, except for Anna, it is sketchy.
-Anna was so early! she did what any rational person would do, rode the 1 back towards manhattan!
-Anna decides that it is time to re-begin her journey into the bronx.
-Anna and man named Anthony are the only 2 people in the train car, Anthony asks Anna if she would like to go on a date with him, Anna declines.
-After many calls for directions, Anna manages to find the right bus and get off at the right stop, success!
Assessment of the Journey. +The journey only took around an hour! (or would have, if i had not turned around), i did have to take the railroad, but that is quite a short commute! +was not awkward. +got to meet many family members. (they were so cool). +olympic curling. +i am so human. +so much happiness! +got a ride back to queens, how nice!
-being indecisive can be really bad, i must stop doing this.
In conclusion, journeying into the bronx is worth it. |

Today, Ms. Aboody gave us gummy bears and i diligently proceeded to arrange mine in rainbow order. I turned to hannah and saw that she had lined hers up in rainbow order too! we did not plan this, and that is how you know when you are best friends with someone.
speaking of best friends, Steph and i tried to write a theme song for ourselves it went like this:
We match, we match so well we are both wearing creme sweaters and they are v-necks.
do i feel a future in the popular music industry coming on?
ps. sometimes mr Kagan can create sort of awkward situations, but it's ok because of "meowy christmas" and "meowy semi formal". |

almost everything is resolved, there was this great point today when justine and i finally got to chat after so long of not talking, and i was just red-faced and a little bit dizzy, but it sufficient for me to be able to finally let go of a bit of the pride which i feared would lead us into an escalation of conflicts.
the weather is so nice and i think that its becoming less unsettling, although it still feels like april, i'm not really worried about being in april as much anymore.
however, i always feel as though everything good but not terminal is precariously balanced. i do not harbor the resources necessary to hold on to things. what a vague articulation. |

Intersession was quite nice due to pleasant surprises, warm weather, happiness, and waffle fries. and milkshakes and chats and paper that looks like silk. and the best tea ever and pumpkin scones and writing plays. however it is a running problem in my life that i am a robot, that will soon be fixed. also, the play was less funny than expected because we left out a plot. however that too will be soon fixed. |

since we have last had school i have built a gingerbread house, watched jeopardy, successfully battled the icy cove in central park, obtained important things such as che Guevara and nelson mandela finger puppets, a mao zedong pocket watch, a mini harmonica necklace and those little 'poisonous' metal things that you put on cakes. lost at trivial pursuit, watched a musical, baked heavy cupcakes and had 'sporadic dance parties'. became angry because loner-new-years-eves due to lame parents are the most dismal of things.
the things i have not done include christmas shopping, huns paper finishing and invisible man reading.
my house is wayyy too loud with talk of wrestling, monkeys and trite xenophobic comments, i am too snobby to deal with such things. |

Last night i had a dream that i went to school but school looked like the port authority. Then i found out that we were going on a race around the world! we had to go through every country, and every time you passed a border, there was a sign telling you. For most of the race, i was in second place to Mike Elfassy, but by the time we reached the finish line, in Sao Tome, i was in first place. During the dream, i did not realize anything wrong with the situation, Like the fact that Sao Tome is indeed, and island. The entire track was indoors though, so i guess it doesn't matter that it was an island. |
